Two Volunteer Positions Open on Operations Team
The WASH Rotary Action Group is a group of Rotarians with a passionate dedication to providing people everywhere with sustainable access to water, sanitation and hygiene. Reporting to the WASH Rotary Action Group Board of Directors, our nine-member Operations Team is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the group. In recent months two of the team’s members have retired and we are now seeking candidates who share our passion and are prepared to dedicate the necessary time and effort.
All members of the team are volunteers. Meetings are held twice a month on Sunday mornings (8.00 am Eastern Time) and we sincerely appreciate the commitment this implies.

Position: Communications & Marketing
Reports to: Chair - Operations Team About the role: The WASH Rotary Action Group encompasses great work, great goals, and great members. The Communications and Marketing Chair will ensure our goals, accomplishments, and needs are presented to a global market of both Rotarians and non-Rotarians.

About the role: Membership is the lifeblood of the WASH Rotary Action Group. The candidate will be passionate about increasing the group’s membership, understanding that engaged Rotarians completing high-quality water, hygiene and sanitation projects are crucial, not just to the WASH Rotary Action Group, but to the entire world.

This position will also review membership of the current Ambassador Program sub-team. Identify new members and establish guidelines. Critical to success will be a regularly updated database of all Ambassadors.
